Payment Policy
Last updated September 15, 2026
ShortsClip is a product operated by iiniit. This Payment Policy explains how billing, credits, renewals, and refunds work on ShortsClip. It supplements our Terms of Service and sits under the central iiniit Payment Policy. Where they overlap, this product-specific policy governs payments for ShortsClip.
1. Plans & credits
ShortsClip is offered on paid, credit-based subscription plans. One credit equals one minute of source video (rounded up). Each plan grants a fixed number of credits at the start of every billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over to the next cycle. There is no free plan or trial.
2. Billing & payment provider
Payments are securely processed by our billing provider, Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Paddle handles payment collection, currency conversion, and any applicable sales tax or VAT, which is shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.
3. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, at the plan’s then-current price, until you cancel. Your credit balance resets to the plan allowance at the start of each new cycle.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your dashboard or via the Paddle customer portal. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew. Cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund.
5. 7-day refund policy
We offer a 7-day refund window from the start of a billing period. Because credits represent real processing we perform on your behalf, refunds within this window are prorated to your unused credits:
Refund = amount paid × (1 − credits used ÷ credits in the cycle).
For example, if you used 50% of your cycle’s credits before requesting a refund on day five, you receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid for that period. To protect against abuse, refunds are not available once more than 80% of a cycle’s credits have been used. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle, and any remaining credits and access are removed.
6. After the refund window
Beyond the 7-day window, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Renewals are charged automatically; we recommend cancelling before a renewal date if you do not wish to continue.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry it over a short period. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be paused or cancelled and access to paid features suspended until billing is resolved.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it quickly under this policy. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute may result in immediate suspension of your account.
9. Price changes
We may change plan prices from time to time. Any change applies to future billing periods, and we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
